ANALISIS KESALAHAN PENGGUNAAN KATA GANTI EN DAN Y DALAM KALIMAT SEDERHANA PADA MAHASISWA UNIMED

Abstract

Repetition in French sentences often occurs in student writing. To minimize this, the pronouns en and y can be used. The problem in the field is that third-semester FBS Unimed French Language Education Study Program students have difficulty replacing words using the pronouns en and y. This research aims to analyze errors in using pronouns en and y in simple sentences found in third-semester students of the FBS Unimed French Language Education Study Program. The research method used in this research is qualitative descriptive, which is conducted by conducting observations, interviews with lecturers, and studying students' writing. The data for this research are third-semester students of the FBS Unimed French Language Education Study Program. The results of errors in using these pronouns are very high. The research results showed that 4 students obtained an error percentage of 100% when answering questions about the pronoun en and 6 students obtained a percentage when answering the pronouns en and y. around 63.4% errors in pronoun substitution en and 63.4% in substitution in pronoun y. En pronoun substitution errors were often found in the material replacing COD with the indefinite article, namely 95.6%. Y pronoun substitution errors were found in the COI substitution material, namely 93.1%.
